In yesterday’s blog I mentioned that we do like a little bit of luxury while camping. Today I took this next level. Maybe we should not call it camping anymore, but glamping.
A couple of weeks ago a little seed was planted by my mate Hilmar when he mentioned that he got an ice cube making machine. An item that I definately would love to get at home. Especially since I am not a beer drinker. And a rum and coke always tastes better with some icecubes.
Last week I mentioned this to another mate who mentioned that Lidl had such a machine available. So I immediately coursed to the local Lidl. Unfortunately it was not available yet. The action just started today. So this morning I made another trip and got my ice cube maker. While I’m typing this I’m drinking a rum and coke on the rocks. Happy as a child.
So in honour of my new machine today’s blog is about ice. Or at least some music with a reference to ice. Vanilla Ice and Ice Cube seemed a bit to obvious. But since my shortlist was a bit too short I did some digging and found some great other tracks. Lot’s of rock music today. Enjoy!
