This week Radio 10 is broadcasting the 80s Top 1500. Feels a bit like again. I could be wrong, but in my opinion they did it earlier this year. But who is complaining? Not me. There are a lot of great songs on the radio again.
Blogging wise there are not many years of the 80’s left. Just two more to go. But let’s do one today in honour of that 80’s top 1500. So for today I had a look at 1989 and once again, there are some great tracks. Enjoy!
1. Technotronic – Pump Up The Jam
Still an absolute great track to hear every now and than.
2. Tone Loc – Wild Thing
Great track, and I love that mobile DJ set.
3. Double Trouble & Rebel MC – Just Keep Rockin’
Still have the CD single somewhere. Might add this to my vinyl wantlist.
4. Bobby Brown – My Prerogative
Taken from the Don’t Be Cruel album. I remember the album was pretty good.
5. Sydney Youngblood – If only I could
I wish I could.
6. Paula Abdul – Straight Up
Duh
7. De La Soul – Me Myself & I
Catchy!
8. Lois Lane – It’s The First Time
Dutch pride. I went to see them live that year.
9. Double Trouble & Rebel MC – Street Tuff
More (Double) Trouble.
10. Robin Beck – First Time
I suddenly feel like drinking a coke…
