Day 221: Queen favorites

Do you remember what you did on August 9th 1986? 37 odd years ago? I don’t. But I assume 120.000 people in Knebworth did. It was the last concert of their Magic Tour, their biggest tour ever. And unfortunately it was also the last show with Freddie Mercury. Although no one knew that at the time. One year after the tour in 1987 Freddie was diagnosed with AIDS. He continued to record with the band and posthumously featured on their final album.

Sad story and the world had lost a great musician. So in memory of Freddie Mercury today I am sharing my favorite Queen songs, enjoy!

1. Killer Queen

2. Don’t Stop Me Now

3. Under Pressure

4. Innuendo

5. Radio Ga Ga

6. We Will Rock You

7. I Want to Break Free

8. Who Wants to Live Forever

9. A Kind of Magic

10. We Are the Champions
