Day 203: Favorite affordable cars

OK, let’s step away from music again. Knowing myself that can never take long. But recently I saw some pretty nice new car models. And since I still have not won the lottery, no supercars list today.

Let’s have a look at some current affordable cars for a change. There are quite a few nice models available. And I’m not switching to neird mode either. So no specificationsor talk about engines. Just looking at the model and design of the car. This is a list of cars I would choose if I had some money laying around, or would be in the position to choose a new company car.

Since I do like some space, and also a high seat, most of these choices are station wagons or SUV’s.

Nope, this RS6 is not in the list, it’s just my favorite car.

1. Peugeot 308

Have you seen the new 308 yet? Looks pretty slick if you ask me. I love the new Peugeot logo, seems to be a bit more aggressive. I did see this car in multiple colours so far, but love the green colour.

2. Kia Sportage

Our current car is a Sportage. Drives exellent, lots of space and lots of comfort.

3. Cupra Leon Sportstourer

One of my previous company cars was a Seat Leon. The model is a little outdated in my opinion, but Cupra pimped it pretty decent.

4. Skoda Kodiaq

Seems you have always enough space in this one. New model on it’s way in 2024.

5. Peugeot 408

Another cool new model by Peugeot. Design department is doing a good job.

6. Skoda Superb

Another Skoda model. This one was also mentioned before in my favorite station cars list.

7. Skoda Karoq

Mmm, starting to feel like a Skoda fanboy now…

8. Cupra Born

Not a big fan of electric cars yet, but I do like this one. You don’t see it as much as all those VW ID’s, what makes it cooler to me.

9. Kia EV6

This allmost seems like a space machine.

10. Kia ProCeed

The model could use an upgrade, but the lines are OK, lots of space and affordable. And I bet the GT line is great to drive.
