Day 196: Motorcycle songs

This year we had a lot of visitors on the camping. My parents dropped by for the first time in 31 years. Last year my sister visited the camping and stayed in our caravan. This year she borrowed a tent from my mate Bart and visited us with her friend Arjan and my little niece Lisa. And lost but not least my mate Hilmar and his gf Krista could use a break. So after a little persuasion they spent 1,5 week on the camping. But actually they are more regulars than visitors since the already made multiple visits.

Today we are expecting new visitors. My (former) colleagues Ruud and Rene are dropping by. Ruud is also bringing his girlfriend Tammy. Since Tammy and Rene are a bit spoiled and don’t like to camp, they will stay in a hotel. But what they do like is spent some time on a motorbike. They left The Netherlands yesterday, stayed the night in a hotel halfway, and will visit us today. I’m looking forward to see them.

So in honour of their trip, today some great songs about motorcycles and/or roadtrips. Enjoy!

BONUS track: Motorcycle – As The Rush Comes

I’m not even sure why this alias of producers Gabriel & Dresden and singer Jes is called Motorcycle, but although this song is meanwhile 20 years old, it still sounds fresh. Loving it!
