Today we had lunch in a really nice crêperie. Both service and food were really great. And in addition they had a good music playlist. Lots of great music from the 80s. And due to a lot of my previous lists, you all know I’m a big fan of 80s music.
This got me also thinking. Is it really the best decade music wise? The 90s were great too, especially with the evolution of house music. The 00s brought some good music as well. But after that? I have to think a lot before I can think of some great music from the 10s or 20s. It seems like my mind is not making the connection with memories again. Or maybe I am just getting old.
As a test I had a look at the year 2012. When looking at the charts I see some proper music. Some of them we might even still play over 30 years. But although 2012 was a year with lots of good memories, none of them seem to be linked to music. Anyway, here are my favorites from 2012. For some of them I cannot even believe they are meanwhile more than 10 years old.
