In yesterday’s list I shared my favorite Bob Marley songs. Today another music list, this time The Doors. Earlier this week I had Paul Hardcastle’s 19 in my mind. This brought the idea of doing a list with songs about the Vietnam war. And thinking about a list with songs, The Doors came up. Although I did share some Doors songs in previous lists, I did not a complete Doors list before. So let’s do that first, and maybe a Vietnam list sometime later.
My love for The Doors started in the summer of ’92 when a friend of mine played them a lot on holiday. After the holiday I started collecting their CD’s and watched Oliver Stone‘s movie The Doors. Especially the soundtrack of that movie I have played a million times.
Funny thing is that my musical taste also changed overtime. Songs like Love Street, Break on through and Five to One were favorites some decades ago, but did not make it in my current Top 10.
