Today the new album from The Orb, Prism was releases. Besides the standard CD and black vinyl releases, the album is also available in mandarin orange. Unfortunately I was too late with the pre-order so I missed out on that. The album is also released on citron yellow vinyl. And lucky for me I was able to pick that one up in a local store in Utrecht today. So this evening I’m planning a little listening session for myself.
But besides the listening session, off course I need to provide a daily Top 10 list. So let’s stick to The Orb as subject, and have a look at some of the colored vinyl releases in my collection. And for this time the ranking is by favorite color, not by the record itself.

Mine would have to be Adventures in brown vinyl at number 1; Aubrey mixes ultraworld excursions in blue vinyl at 2; light blue Auntie Aubrey’s excursions beyond the call of duty part1 at three. If I had either of the brown assassin releases they would be at 4&5… but I don’t!
I´m colour-blind, but audiophile. No doubt, your collection is a great one!
