Day 67: Ten songs not to play at a wedding

Yesterday I had fun creating the songs not to play at a funeral list. But at night it kept me busy since today’s list started to boil inside my mind. So to get the songs that came up out of my head, let’s move on to today’s list. Ten songs I would not recommend to play at a wedding. Like I already mentioned yesterday, music is very personal. But even at a wedding where people are celebrating and in a festive mood, there are still quite a few tracks that might be offending, inappropriate or just not suitable. Here is my Top10. Enjoy!

10. The Doors – The end

9. Carrie Underwood – Before He Cheats

8. Pat Benatar – Love Is a Battlefield

7. Dionne Warwick – Heartbreaker

6. Whitney Houston – It’s Not Right But It’s Okay

5. Paul Simon – 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover

4. Shania Twain – That don’t impress me

3. Fleetwood Mac – Go your own way

2. Bon Jovi – You give love a bad name

1. De Raggende Manne – Ik vind je leuk

Since this one is in Dutch let me give you a translation of the one sentence in this song: I like you, but your breath smells like the ass of a bear.
